A letter from our Principal
Greetings and welcome to Higher Learning Institution!
It is my privilege to serve as the Principal of our esteemed institution, and I am truly honored to be a part of our innovative team. At Higher Learning, we hold a strong vision, mission, and values that guide us in providing a transformative education to all our students.
We aim to provide a spiritually enriching, intellectually stimulating, and character-building education through our safe and dynamic online learning environment. We are committed to utilizing best practices and fostering a lifelong love of learning and service.
As a Texas A&M University and Rice University graduate, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with specializations in English, Language Arts, and Reading and a Master of Education in Administration with Principal Certification. With my experience as a certified teacher and administrator in Texas and Florida, I bring knowledge from various educational settings, including traditional and online schools.
Over the past fifteen years, I have served as an English Language Arts Teacher, Interventionist, Specialist, School Board Secretary, Administrative Consultant, Head of School, Principal, and Assistant Superintendent. I am dedicated to the development, leadership, and teaching that empowers students to excel academically and grow as individuals.
